  • What is the difference between an Orangery and a Garden Room?

    The only difference between an orangery and a garden room is that an orangery has a flat roof with a glass roof lantern, whereas a garden room has a solid tiled roof with vaulted ceilings.

    The flat roof element of an orangery is finished with a hard wearing rubber material EPDM which has a life expectancy of 30 years plus. The uPVC lantern is glazed with sealed units with a 1.0 U value, making your glass roof lantern orangery extension a special room to be in.

  • Can I customise and choose the window?

    It is possible to have glazed elevations consisting of windows, doors, french doors and bi fold doors, constructed from uPVC, timber or aluminium.

  • What happens to waste material produced when building and installing the orangery

    All waste material is also removed and properly sorted for recycling in accordance with regulations, so your property is left as clean as we find it!

  • Do I need to source a separate supplier and installer for heating and electricity?

    Ancillary services such as electrics, plumbing and heating can all be included as required, and we can even take care of finished decoration and fittings for you so you are left with a stylish and modern design.

  • Do your garden rooms meet the required requirements and regulations?

    Our team of experts will design and build your project to the very best of standards. Providing our services throughout Norfolk and Suffolk, our installations are designed and built to meet or exceed all current building regulations standards, and we fit additional high grade floor and roof insulation that surpasses most modern new builds and regulations for additional comfort.

  • Are orangeries only used for kitchen extensions?

    No, orangeries give a wonderful sense of space and light and have many possible functions; a dining room, living room, additional reception room, extension to the kitchen and playroom, to name a few.
